PPFOTM. It’s a Mortimer thing- the rest won’t understand…<\/p>\n

I’ve arrived in Devizes with my friend Nick and his boat ‘Pendragon’. We had a great trip across the Kennet and Avon, exploring the town of Newbury, the pumping house at Crofton (engines in steam) and then having Nick’s grandson aboard. The nasty weather was all-round us, but we really didn’t get wet. There are now flood warnings out, so we really dodged that.<\/p>\n

My boat continues southward, capably guided by Pat and Kerry and their friends. I’ll rejoin them at Oxford (I think).<\/p>\n
